FX has renewed The Bear for a second season after its huge debut, making it one of the year’s hottest shows. The story follows a chef who worked at an up-scale restaurant and must return to his home in Chicago to help his family run their local sandwich shop after his brother’s suicide.
The series put out all nine episodes on June 23rd on Hulu. Likely aiding in the decision to have The Bear renewed, the series has a 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience is slightly below with a still admirable 92%. Now that it has legs to grow, plenty can be done moving forward for the story in a second season.
