It is almost time to open doors and serve sandwiches. Announced through social media, The Bear will return for season 2 with a June 22 release date (seen below). The announcement comes with a new poster for the FX series that shows the returning cast with plenty of developing recipes and the sign change as the restaurant goes from The Beef to The Bear. We don’t get a look at new cast members Molly Gordon or Bob Odenkirk.
The release date for the next outing of The Bear fits in with what was previously revealed. We had known it would arrive in June, but this gives a concrete date when we can see what happens at the restaurant and its chefs.

The series follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) goes from a chef at the world-class restaurant The French Laundry to his brother’s Chicago-based sandwich shop after his suicide. He tries to grapple with tense relationships in the kitchen while trying to keep it from sinking as his brother’s restaurant was getting run into the ground before his death. The series also stars Matty Matheson, Corey Hendrix, Abby Elliott, Edwin Lee Gibson, Liza Colón-Zayas, Lionel Boyce, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Ayo Edebiri. Odenkirk will come for this second outing for a guest role, and Gordon in a significant recurring role. Their roles have not been detailed.
The success of the first season gathered more episodes this time around. The release date of The Bear season 2 will start a ten-episode run, two more episodes from the freshman season. That success saw positive reviews, nominations, and wins at various award shows and a slew of viewers eating up the drama and food.
The first season is available on Hulu to catch up before the release date of The Bear season 2.
