The Best AK47 Loadout in XDefiant to Help You Dominate the Meta

A long-range monster of a rifle

Several weapons have an argument to be considered for the current meta in XDefiant. The ACR 6.8 and MP7 came out of the gate hot thanks to their reputation, but other weapons have since closed the gap. One weapon that has come on strong after the release of XDefiant is the AK47, which has arguably the best loadout in the game.

While it’s still not as popular as the ACR 6.8, there’s no denying how strong the AK47 is. It can kill at any range, has virtually no weaknesses, and it has a variety of loadout options. Below, you can see the loadout I’ve been using to dominate the opposition in XDefiant.

There are a few different ways you can go with your loadout for the AK47. Since the weapon has such a strong time-to-kill already, though, you can focus on accuracy and mobility and still compete with the likes of the ACR 6.8 and M16A4 at range.

My loadout for the AK47 is viewable below:

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Lightweight
  • Front Rail: Angled Grip
  • Rear Grip: Quick Draw
  • Magazine: Quick Mag

Two attachments increase accuracy while the other three focus on mobility in the loadout. Starting us off is the Compensator Muzzle, which reduces aim down sights speed and stability in exchange for a 7% reduction in vertical recoil. This makes a massive difference, as the AK47 can tend to shoot upwards if you can’t control its initial recoil. Helping out the Compensator Zuzzle is the Angled Grip Front Rail, lowering horizontal recoil by 5%. We also get back the stability lost from the Compensator, as the attachment boosts that stat by an extra 15%.

As both of those attachments lower mobility, we must make it back up with other attachments. That starts with the Lightweight Barrel, boosting aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire speed by 15% and 5%, respectively. Then, the Quick Draw Rear Grip increases both of those stats another 10% each, giving you an impressively mobile AK47.

Rounding out the loadout is the Quick Mag, which simply reduces your reload time by nearly half and gives you an extra five bullets. Those five bullets can make the difference between living and dying while the added reload speed comes in handy quite often. However, if you prefer an optic on your AK47, I recommend swapping the Quick Mag with the Reflex Sight.

That does it for the best AK47 loadout in XDefiant. Until an update comes along that nerfs the AK47, the rifle will continue to be firmly in the meta.
