Ice Shard Sorcerer Build
The main idea around this Sorcerer build is to use vulnerability and immobile effects on the enemies to boost the damage that your Ice Shards and Deep Freeze abilities do.
Typically, you will begin with the Ice Shot ability to unlock your skill tree’s second set of abilities. Below, you can find the full list of abilities you should be unlocking in order:
Ice Shard (5/5) > Enhanced Ice Shards > Destructive Ice Shards
Teleport (5/5) > Enhanced Teleport > Shimmering Teleport
Glass Cannon (3/3)
Ice Armor (5/5) > Enhanced Idea Armor > Mystical Ice Armor

Icy Veil (3/3) > Snap Freeze > Cold Front
Blizzard (5/5) > Enhanced Blizzard > Wizard’s Blizzard
Meteor > Enhanced Meteor > Wizard’s Meteor

Ice Shards Sorcerer Build Rotation
After you’ve unlocked all of your skills, you should position them from left to right on your skill bar in the order below:
- Ice Armor
- Frost Nova
- Deep Freeze
- Teleport
- Meteor
- Ice Shards
You should also use Blizzard and Frost Bolt as enchantments.
This will ensure that Ice Shards is your most primarily used ability. When you enter a fight, you should be using Ice Armor first. Ice armor will ensure that any damage you do to vulnerable enemies will increase your Ice Armor barrier, and your mana regeneration is increased by 25%.
Next, use Frost Nova. This will freeze enemies around you briefly, making enemies vulnerable for 4-6 seconds. This will make it easier to build up your barrier and deal much more damage to them.
For your third ability in rotation, you should use Meteor. This will also immobilize enemies, specifically bosses, and deal a large amount of damage to them. This also deals with burning damage to enemies.
Next, you should use Ice Shards to take down the enemies while they are immobile and vulnerable. When all else fails, you can use your Deep Freeze ultimate ability before Ice Shards.
