HBO has released the trailer (seen below) for The Big Brunch, a cooking competition series hosted by Dan Levy of Schitt’s Creek. The footage introduces the cast of chefs, its host, the premise, and plenty of delicious-looking food that will get you hungry. As the host said in the narration, “We built a show to celebrate ten chefs, each striving to improve their communities by connecting people to food.”
The cooking reality TV space is often drama-filled, like Top Chef and Hell’s Kitchen. The Big Brunch trailer shines a wholesome light with people hugging, sharing meals, and having a friendly competition to earn the $300,000 cash prize. It will focus on the connections between the chefs, judges (former Bon Appétit employee Sohla El-Waylly and restauranteur Will Guidara), and the host.
