The Boys has posted a new promotional video introducing a new Supe for season 3. The latest edition of Vought News Network’s Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman (the fictional news network in the series), introduces the new Supe to the universe. About halfway into the six-minute newscast, Cameron Coleman announces that Moonshadow, “the west coast sea-shattering bombshell” will be appearing on the front cover of Vought Sports’ swimsuit issue. He then goes on to explain that the “San-Diego based superheroine continues to take charge with a body-positive persona.”
Finally, Coleman finishes the segment by declaring that Moonshadow is “one rising hero that Vought executives – and the rest of the world – won’t be able to take their eyes off of.”
The Boys and an Upcoming Season 3
The Boys is an Amazon Prime show based on the comic book series by the same name. Garth Ennis, the author, is known for his cynical and gory spin on the superhero trope. The show and the comic follow a group of vigilantes who fight back against the corrupt superheroes (known as supes and The Seven) who abuse their power and celebrity status. The Boys currently has two seasons on Amazon Prime. Adding on, production for season 3 is currently in progress (and an already confirmed season 4).
The Boys Season 3 doesn’t have a definite premiere date yet. However, the season will be on the platform late this year or early next year. The new season will introduce a new number of supes, including “Soldier Boy” played by Jensen Ackles.
In other news regarding The Boys, writer Erik Kripke confirms that nothing will top the season 3 episode “Herogasm”. The crazy and graphic storyline is wildly popular with comic book fans. As a result of this popularity, the Emmy nominated show is popular for its humor, performances, and storyline. Also, a confirmed fourth season of The Boys is in the writing stage.
