Wonderstorm has announced that a brand new co-op RPG based on the popular Netflix animated series, The Dragon Prince, is currently in development. The game is known under the codename Project Arcanum, and fans can now sign-up to join the pre-alpha demo in the near future.

What We Know About The Dragon Prince RPG Project Arcanum
Project Arcanum will be the first full video game released for The Dragon Prince. The series already has a tabletop roleplaying game announced in 2021 in the form of Tales of Xadia.
Described as a vibrant co-op RPG, Project Arcanum will be set in the magical lands of Xadia and feature a diverse array of characters based on the people that live in the world of The Dragon Prince.
As little details have been shared at this time, it is unknown if the main characters of the animated series – namely Callum, Ezra, Rayla, Soren, Zym, and others – will be featured in the game in some form.
The gameplay is described as a multiplayer experience that will seek to “celebrate combat mastery and teamwork in equal measure, rewarding players with unique abilities, increasing levels of difficulty and untold troves of treasure.”
A tentative release date for The Dragon Prince Project Arcanum RPG has not been shared, but interested players can sign up for the pre-alpha now to be part of the early playlets groups. When the playlets will occur is all unknown, however.
The fourth season of The Dragon Prince, titled the Mystery of Aaravos, was released in November 2022 and is currently available to stream exclusively on Netflix. A release window for season 5 is not known at this time, but Netflix has confirmed that the fifth season will premiere “sometime in 2023“.
The Dragon Prince is slated to have a total of seven seasons on Netflix after the streaming platform renewed it for four more seasons following the success of season 3.
