The trailer for The Flash is coming out on Super Bowl Sunday despite the heavy controversy surrounding the movie. Digital Spy reports that a new poster for The Flash was released via Warner Bros.’ social media accounts before the release of the official trailer on Super Bowl Sunday. That poster can be seen below. This upcoming trailer and The Flash movie are being released despite the controversy surrounding title character actor Ezra Miller, who has been the subject of numerous legal issues, which started with a disorderly conduct arrest in Hawaii in March of last year.

‘The Flash’ Trailer Releasing Super Bowl Sunday Despite Ezra Miller
The trailer for The Flash is being released on Super Bowl Sunday despite the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller. WatchMojo ranked Miller among the many celebrities who ruined their careers in 2022. Miller has been the perpetrator of many accusations in the last year, including domestic violence, grooming a minor, and starting a cult. The non-binary actor apologized to Warner Bros. in a formal meeting in August in hopes of keeping The Flash movie alive. The upcoming Super Bowl Sunday trailer for The Flash suggests that Warner Bros. has forgiven Miller, but only time will tell if audiences what to give the disgraced actor a second chance.
The accusations against Miller were so intense that many DC fans pushed for Grant Gustin of the C.W.’s The Flash to take Miller’s place in the DCEU. While the C.W. series is headed into its ninth and final season, it seems unlikely that we will see Gustin taking on the Flash costume in Miller’s place.
What fans will think of The Flash movie is up in the air, but before the trailer’s Super Bowl Sunday release, DC Studios CEO teased it as one of the best superhero movies he has seen. While he may be biased, time will tell if he is correct.
