According to the latest leaks from Honkai Star Rail, member #76 of the Genius Society, Screwllum, could be the next to enter the roster of playable characters. This robot would be the third one after Herta, who appeared in the debut, and Ruan Mei, who was part of Version 1.6, already got her re-run in 2.3.
Although the information in the leaks looks like nothing more than crumbs and the Screwllum model, many infer that its Path in Honkai Star Rail could be the Erudition. In addition to being a member of the most influential association of geniuses in the universe, his brilliant companions also follow this same path. If this is true, Screwllum will be an expert in attacks that do multi-target damage, but his element is still unknown. Screwllum is also known for bringing peace to end the war between organic and mechanical life forms on his planet, and he became the ultimate leader in it. He also expanded his knowledge to become the best hacker —according to Herta— and only Silver Wolf can match him.
Also, among the information, the leaks mentioned that Screwllum’s attacks have a theme of screws, bolts, clockwork, and mechanical butterfly motives. However, take this with a grain of salt to see if the more humane and gentlemanly robot appears after the Xianzhou Alliance incident with the Borisin. I hope we don’t have to wait for another Amber era until Screwllum’s appearance outside the Herta Space Station, as he is one of our strongest allies. Or at least this genius has been a great friend of the Astral Express; until now, we still don’t know all his motivations.
