The Last of Us Part 1, one of the most anticipated PC ports of the year, finally arrived on Steam following a 25-day delay designed to ensure that its “PC debut is in the best shape possible.” However, the launch didn’t go as planned, with the game mainly receiving negative reviews on Steam due to numerous technical issues. Steam users have reported inconsistent frame rates, regular crashes, stuttering, long load times, and poor optimization, even on high-end hardware.

The Last of Us Part 1 is Naughty Dog’s new-gen spruce-up of the acclaimed 2013 stealth survival horror game. The game initially launched for PlayStation 5 last September, and fans highly anticipated its PC port. However, the launch issues have led to disappointment for many fans, who were eagerly waiting to play the game on their PCs.

While the negative reviews may cause concern, it’s important to note that the game has only been out for a short time, and Iron Galaxy may release a patch to fix the issues. It remains to be seen if the issues will impact the game’s sales in the long run or if fans will continue to support the game. For now, fans of The Last of Us Part 1 will have to wait and see if the game’s issues are addressed promptly.
