The Last Resort’s Asuelu Pulaa is in some hot water. He just straight-up admitted he cheated on his wife, Kalani. To say their courtship was odd is an understatement. He met her at a resort, and the two coupled up despite a ten-year age difference. She was Mormon and had never “been” with anyone before him. She also got pregnant from the encounter as well. She then traveled home and flew Asuelu out to marry her.
The first problem was that no one knew she was pregnant until they saw her at the service. A fact that came as a big shock to her family. That was just the start of their problems, too. These problems keep stacking up on themselves, culminating in a cheating scandal.

From that point on, these two were constantly having problems. He could barely support his wife and kids financially, let alone emotionally. Truthfully, people have been expecting these two to split up for a while now. So, it was a minimal shock to anyone when Asuelu dropped the bomb that he had cheated on Kalani. Good thing it happened on The Last Resort, as that show is just televised group therapy.
To his credit, he at least admitted it and is trying to own it. He also sheds some genuine tears while talking about it, showing that he does have regret. Unfortunately for him, admitting it and crying about it doesn’t undo it. He now says he is trying to get help and is also trying to figure out why he did it. The therapist in the show also expressed that he wants them to be able to face it so they can move past it.
But considering she lost her virginity to him, that has to make it hit even harder for her. The Last Resort’s Asuelu Pulaa admits he cheated on his wife. Something that she nor the fans are likely to get over anytime soon.
