A new episode of The Nerd Stash Show is available now! You can check out a synopsis, timestamps, and the episode itself down below:
“Hello, and welcome back to a new episode of The Nerd Stash Show! You might not have realized it, but Gamescom 2020 is starting, and just like everything else, it’s going virtual. To celebrate and kick off the festivities, Geoff Keighley put together another virtual event for everyone to gather around and watch new game reveals. In fact, we got over 30 total trailers and reveals in a jam-packed, two-hour presentation. The crew breaks down the show and their favorite things (hint, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a big deal!).
Also discussed in this episode, Rocksteady and WB Montreal FINALLY showed off what the games each studio’s working on. Halo Infinite is in the news again, this time with returning veterans coming in to help with development, is this a sign of trouble though? New rumors of a more powerful Switch emerge. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War also got a release date. Without Taylor on the show, Brandon and Johnny talk about if they think this might be another hint of when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release.”
