Buckle up, our dear online criminals. According to recent reports, the release window for GTA 6 just got shorter than we initially thought. Previously, we only knew the game would hit the digital shelves in 2025. However, according to new information, there’s already a season when Rockstar Games is planning to launch its next big title. While it’s still some months away from reaching us, it is nice to know a specific window to mark on our calendars and free some space to play it because, let’s face it: we all want to abandon Los Santos and move to better shores.

GTA 6 just got a release window for Fall 2025 according to Take Two’s investor report. This, of course, is still a bit uncertain, but it narrows it down to at least more than just a 2025 release. After the record-breaking reveal trailer, people can’t wait to learn more about the next adventure in the Grand Theft Auto universe. Furthermore, with recent updates slowing down on GTA Online, it is time for Rockstar Games to start moving resources for the next mainline entry.

Welcome Back to Vice City – GTA 6 Official Trailer Breakdown

Sadly, the release window is the only big reveal we’ve had from GTA 6 lately. We haven’t seen any gameplay footage or more details regarding the supposed two playable characters. However, many gamers have dissected the trailer from top to bottom and spotted some juicy details. The most important one is the return of Vice City, which is a fan favorite and one place we haven’t visited in years. Hopefully, Rockstar Games will unveil new details soon because we are thirsty for some GTA 6 information. In the meantime, those who haven’t tried GTA Online in a while can return for the recent mini-heist or any of the weekly updates we get in this decade-old game.
