The Sims 4 is one of the greatest modern-day simulation games, but those games are always better when you know all of the cheats for them and how to use them. Once you know how to enable cheats in The Sims 4, you can do almost anything. Want to make your Sims millionaires? Unlock free items? Maybe even teleport your Sims wherever you’d like? With these cheats, everything from pregnancy to build mode features will be under your control. Keep reading for a complete list of all the cheats in The Sims 4ย and how to use each of them.

How To Use Cheats in The Sims 4

To begin with, you can’t use any cheats until you open up the game’s Cheat Console. Don’t worry, though. It’s easy to do. If you are on PC, you can open up the Cheat Console by pressing the Ctrl + Shift+ C buttons simultaneously. This will bring up a box at the top of your screen that you can type your cheat codes into. Every time you type in a cheat code, make sure to press Enter in order to make the cheat take effect. Otherwise, you’ll just end up staring at your Sim’s empty bank account wondering where your Simoleons are.

If you’re on console, you can open up the Cheat Console by pressing all 4 of the shoulder buttons on your controller at once. This would be LT, LB, RT, and RB on Xbox, and L1, L2, R1, and R2 on PlayStation. To replace a shift click on Xbox, hold B down while you press A. To replace a shift click on PlayStation, hold down Circle while you press X. You’re almost ready to enable cheats in The Sims 4 and bring some radical changes to your characters’ lives, for better or for worse.
