Infants are a relatively new addition to The Sims 4, but they’re a welcome change all the same. Where Sims players once had expressionless newborns with limited interactivity, the new Infant life stage adds a ton of new features. With the addition of infants also come tons of new items for players to use with their little ones like furniture, clothing, and more. As with any new invention, Sims 4 players were quick to jump on this new addition, and loads of new custom content has been created for Infants – everything from bedroom décor to new hairstyles. Artsy Baby Set by Tinysimmer
The Artsy Baby CC Set by Tinysimmer is perfect if you’re playing The Sims 4 with a cottage-core aesthetic in mind. The custom content includes a crib, rocking chair, changing table, snapper, and a few paintings whose swatches include art from Studio Ghibli films. The entire set is made of medium-toned wood swatches and a variety of cozy patterns that include plaids and various natural and floral designs. Any Sims players who’re familiar with the Cottage Living expansion pack might find this CC pack to be a good fit.
Ashira Dress (Infant) by couquett
If you need to dress your infant up, the Ashira Dress by couquett is a quality choice. Created in November 2023, the dress is a custom piece of full-body clothing for Sims 4 infants with a flowy skirt and a band of flowers between the bodice and skirting, making it a perfect springtime outfit. The Ashira Dress comes in 14 color swatches, including a few solid color options like pastel pink and a few gradient color options.
Decorative Baby Clutter by LaSkrillz Gaming
It can be hard to make houses in The Sims 4 looked lived-in sometimes, and especially when you want to make a nursery look messy. LaSkrillz Gaming’s Decorative Baby Clutter is the perfect solution, providing Sims players with a huge array of baby supplies – including baby lotions, wet wipes, band-aids, and diapers – to put into a nursery to add another layer of realism. The Sims 4 Infant CC pack includes 21 different clutter objects, and a few of the objects have different swatches to choose from.
Flower Headbands for Infants by WisteriaSims
Another piece of custom content clothing, the Flower Headband for Infants by WisteriaSims is a good choice if you want to add something subtle yet pretty to your infant’s wardrobe. The headband comes in 7 different color swatches, including pastel pink, yellow, and brown. Thankfully, it’s also fully compatible with The Sims 4 Base Game, so you won’t have to buy any extra expansion packs to give your baby this flowery accessory. It’s important to note that the headband won’t work with high-volume hair, but infants with short hair can wear it without issue.
Infant Crochet Hats by Libby_Letters
Knitting is one of the coziest activities in the world, and The Sims 4 is no different. If you’re going for a cozy, warm look for your infant, then the Infant Crochet Hat by Libby_Letters is for you. Created in November 2023, the Infant Crochet Hat comes in 7 color swatches and resembles a bucket hat. The hat goes well with the Infant Crochet Leggings by the same creator, but the CC pack can be downloaded individually. The Infant Crochet Hat is fully compatible with the Sims 4 Base Game, so there’s no need to download any of the expansion packs if you don’t have them.
Infant Dino Jacket by Libby_Letters
If you want to add a touch of real-life into your Sims game, then the Infant Dino Jacket is perfect for Infants who, like real kids, are fascinated by dinosaurs. Created by Libby_Letters in November 2023, the brightly-colored jacket features a dinosaur egg and a cheerful, smiling dinosaur. The Infants CC pack includes five color swatches and is compatible with the The Sims 4 Base Game, so no extra packs are needed to apply this custom content.
Infant Playmat “The DangleMaster Deluxe” by Sims Labs
While infant playmats are available in The Sims 4 Base Game, your options can be kind of limited. That’s where CC Packs like the “DangleMaster Deluxe” by Sims Labs come in. This infant playmat, originally based off an object from The Sims 2, is fully functional, portable, and upgradeable, and it comes in six different color swatches. The playmat is also compatible with the Base Game, so it’s a good choice for players that don’t have any other baby-related expansion packs but want to widen their Infant’s horizons a little.
Old-Fashioned Crib for Babies by AWingedLlama
If you’re a Sims player looking to decorate your infant’s nursery with a traditional touch, then the aptly-named Old-Fashioned Crib for Babies should be right up your alley. Created by AWingedLlama, the Old-Fashioned Crib pack was recently updated to work with the latest Sims 4 patch and actually contains three cribs, each with small variations in design. Each crib comes with an impressive 46 color swatches, including a collection of natural wood tones that range from white to black and every shade in-between.
Dori Hair by GoAmazons
The Sims has gotten better recently about the hair variety available in Create-A-Sim, but they’re still not perfect. If you’re trying to change your Infant’s hairstyle and aren’t satisfied with what you’ve got, then we recommend looking into The Sims 4 Infant CC hair like Dori Hair by GoAmazons. One out of an entire hair collection, Dori Hair pulls an infant‘s hair and bangs up into a topknot and adds a colorful hair clip. The CC hairstyle pack can match the base game’s existing hair colors along with adding a few of its own. Impressively, it’s also compatible with hats, so feel free to work your Infant’s new hairstyle into a whole new outfit.
Toddler Changing Table by PandaSama
Even in The Sims 4, it’s not a stretch to say that you’ll be using an infant’s changing table a lot. If you’re going to be using it a lot, you should get one that you like, and if the base game options aren’t enough, then the Toddler Changing Table infant CC pack by PandaSama is a wonderful outside option. Despite the name, the Toddler Changing Table has recently been updated to work with infants and is fully functional and customizable, allowing Teen, Adult, or Elder Sims to use diapers, baby wipes, and other objects to clean the infant on the table. The Changing Table also has a slot for a garbage can to be interested and comes in a variety of colors, including black, white, gray, and pink.
