Telltale games have always been fan favorites for farming achievements and trophies, as the vast majority of them are awarded for simply progressing through the linear game, which tend to be far shorter than most, especially as they are released episodically. With the upcoming release of The Walking Dead Collection, fans have been curious as to whether a brand new list would be made up for achievements and trophies. Well worry no longer.
For Xbox fans, Telltale has confirmed that The Walking Dead Collection is indeed a new achievement list. But don’t frett, as it doesn’t mean that they will simply aggregate each season into large lumps of achievements to total the usual 1,000. Instead, the collection will feature a whopping 4,000 achievements points. So while this is a brand new list, Telltale is essentially compiling each seasons full Xbox One achievement list into one, allowing players to earn the same ones over again in this new collection since it is a brand new game.
While PlayStation 4 gamers will certainly be happy to snatch up more easy trophies throughout all four of The Walking Dead seasons, the trophy list isn’t as robust as their competing platforms is. In total, the collection features 52 trophies to collect, made up of 48 bronze, 3 gold and one platinum.
That is a lot more than most games, but avid trophy hunters will certainly be disappointed by the fact that their will only be a single platinum. Breaking that down even more, beating each episode in the first, second and Michonne seasons will only net bronze trophies.
Even if you may be disappointed as a PS4 fan, take solace in the fact that each platform the game releases on will see a considerable upgrade in graphics in comparison to the originals, as seen below.
