The Walking Dead returns this Sunday with an all new episode titled “Sing me a Song”. By the looks of the preview, we’ll be visiting a number of different characters and locations in this episode. It’ll be interesting to see just how much screen time everyone gets considering how the last few weeks have run. Rick and Aaron are out together and appear to be heading into dangerous territory. A very conflicted looking Michonne is shown slicing up some walkers while headed down a lonesome road. Jesus seemingly makes it to the Savior compound where Daryl is still being held. There is certainly a lot going on in the preview for this episode.

I am curious to see what becomes of Carl, who was not shown in the preview. If you’ll remember back to the episode “Go Getters,” Carl was in the Sanctuary bound Savior truck with Jesus. In The Walking Dead comics, Negan takes a bit of a liking to Carl, almost treating him like one would a friend. Since season seven is supposed to closely mirror the comics, it’s likely we’ll see some sort of Negan and Carl relationship. For anyone unaware, this episode will have a 90 minute run time, with next week being the mid-season finale.

Are you excited for this 90-minute episode? Any thoughts and predictions leading up to the mid-season finale? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
