Endure the wilds of Alaska in HypeTrain Digital‘s The Wild Eight, now available to grab for PlayStation 4 players.
Survival in the Forest in The Wild Eight
The Wild Eight was originally released last year on October 3, 2019, for the PC through Steam. This unique take on the survival genre brings you face-to-face with the supernatural. A mysterious occurrence has caused a plane to crash, leaving only a small number of survivors behind in the ruin. Choosing between one of eight characters, you can experience different playthroughs through The Wild Eight‘s emergent world.
The console release trailer for the PlayStation 4 version of The Wild Eight surrounds snippets of survival action with guitar strings in the background. Everything from the winter wolves and the chilly winds to the frost giants can be seen in the trailer. You can also upgrade your character’s equipment and abilities as you continue to uncover the mystery behind the crash. Along the way, you’ll traverse vast science facilities and laboratories.
Most people don’t appreciate their lives. But we do. We do now.”
The Wild Eight currently has over 4,000 reviews on its Steam page, with the majority being favored toward “Mostly Positive”. The development of The Wild Eight comes after a successful Kickstarter campaign with 1,257 backers.
Live to tell the tale as you survive against the arctic dangers of Alaska’s wilderness. Every game restart comes with a different journey, and the journey begins today for PlayStation 4 users. The Wild Eight will also be backward compatible with the PlayStation 5 when the next-gen console launches this week.
