Deviants are weird creatures that can help you in combat with unique powers or gather resources in bases. Thus, having control over a bunch of them will be crucial if you want to survive the magical post-apocalyptic wastes. If you are trying to complete your Deviant collections, here’s how to find the cute Logging Beaver early in Once Human. You can even do this method while at Level 10 and below!

The Logging Beaver Deviant can be easily found not far from Meyer’s Market. From the safe zone area, head south down the cliff into the small pier on the river. The Deviant should be seen across Margerie’s Store, or precisely at Broken Delta at 5698, -6667 coordinates.

The Meyer’s Market area is recommended for players who have reached Level 15. However, even lower-level Once Human players can easily reach where the Logging Beaver Deviant waits. Mark the safe zone on your map and follow the waypoint without stopping, even when monsters are chasing you. They will have to stop for a split second to wind up their attack animations, and as long as you keep moving, you’ll outrun them.

Locate it and interact with the Logging Beaver to catch the Once Human Deviant. You’ll get four chances to capture it before it runs away if you fail. Once caught, it will help you gather Logs when assigned to your base. In case you did not find it, there is a huge chance that another player has caught the Deviant… Or tried to capture it but it escaped.

If that happens, head back to Meyer’s Market and enter the blue-colored building to find a Teleporter there and use it to switch World. We also didn’t see the Logging Beaver in our first attempt. Then we moved from World 4 to World 1 and got lucky at finding the Deviant. Capturing it the first time though, not so much. We’re sure you’ll have better luck capturing Logging Beaver Deviant and can get back to collecting resources to progress in Once Human.

Once Human is available on PC and Mobile.
