It must be said that Google’s Stadia is quite an impressive piece of kit, one that enables gamers to stream their favorite games direct to a TV or mobile device, with quality graphics, and brilliant input. Assuming your internet is up to the job of course. It’s had some good press coverage recently, thanks to the fact it delivers one of the only passable versions of Cyberpunk 2077. This week on Stadia the good vibes keep on coming, just in time for Christmas, as all Stadia Pro users can claim Cthulu Saves Christmas, starting from today.

In this fun, lighthearted RPG, Cthulu has lost his powers again, and the only way to get them back is to save Santa Claus from the league of Christmas evil. With a Steam rating of 9/10, it’s sure to be a worthy addition to anyone’s Stadia collection and something to play with when all the Christmas toys are broken by lunch. On top of that, three new games have been made available for purchase: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Enter the Gungeon, and Reigns.

If you have somehow missed it, you can check out our review of Enter the Gungeon here, where we felt it offered endless, frantic, and frenetic gameplay. Reigns, on the other hand, is a strategy game all about sitting on a throne. Sounds vaguely familiar, however, it was well-received, and a sequel is on the way. And I’m sure you’ve heard of Lara Croft.

Finally, four more games were announced for the Stadia Pro collection from January 1, 2021. These are Hotline Miami, Figment, and Ary and the Secret Seasons. Even if you may have played some of these games before, it’s great to see them coming to Stadia. Streaming will probably never take over as the main way we play our games, but it’s nice to have a choice.

Let us know in the comments if you plan to grab any of these, and if you need me, I’m off the save Christmas.
