His brother confirmed that he died yesterday (January 11) from a “presumed heart attack” after being taken to the hospital. This cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
The Louisiana-based creator had become quite popular on the platform. Among all the trendy dancers and young creators on TikTok, Waffer69 became a major name in the food corner of the app. He had grossed 1.7 million followers and 33.1 likes. Some of his videos were in the hundreds of thousands to millions of views, with his final on the giant Froot Loop being at 3 million views at the time of writing.
Fans and other creators are currently posting all around social media to honor the foodie TikToker. His brother urges fans to “keep his legacy alive” and “keep him alive” by watching his work. He also said that his brother “loved making people happy.”

@claydorm Rest in piece Bubba I love you ❤️ @wafffler69
Like many content creators, Waffler69 went beyond TikTok. He had his place on other social media platforms and would livestream on Twitch, which has not been touched in seven years, but was there in case he got “banned from TikTok Live,” which he used more often. He would use social media to connect with his audience, like a Discord server for the community.
The business of his work had expanded over the years. He started developing his own merchandise, like shirts and an all-purpose seasoning, which he would sign every bottle he sold. He opened the door for people to tip him on Cashapp and send things to his P.O. box.
Currently, no other details are known about his death. Other family members and friends have not made public statements.
