Last week, the pair finally made a very public appearance when they showed up together at an afterparty for the actor’s highly anticipated Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. However, fans couldn’t help but notice one major detail between the duo.
According to The Daily Mail, Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet were photographed together at the event, which took place at the Dolby Theatre. Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, was also in attendance at the party to support the actor.
Kylie wore a dark dress that clung tightly to her famous curves and featured a plunging neckline. She had her long, dark hair parted to the side and styled in soft waves that fell over her shoulders and down her back. Jenner also included a natural makeup look with pink cheeks and soft lips. She looked to accessorize the ensemble with rings on her fingers and a chain around her neck. Kylie also rocked dangling earrings at the event.
Meanwhile, Timothee wore a black leather blazer and sported a thin mustache. He added black pants and a gray button-up shirt with a collar as well as black boots.
Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet’s Romance Questioned
Jenner didn’t walk the red carpet with Chalamet for the premiere. However, she was there to support him as they were photographed deep in conversation after he walked the red carpet.
Fans questioned why Kylie and Timothee didn’t appear together at the event. Perhaps they didn’t want to create buzz around their relationship that would take away from the film. However, others believe it’s because they don’t share much love or chemistry for one another.
“He’s not interested. That why he sees her every several months, like a friend. She’s too over exposed and trashy for him,” one person commented.
“This seems a pr relationship at best. No chemistry and an odd coupling,” said another.
“They look more like good friends, nothing more,” a third person wrote.
It was previously reported that Jenner and Chalamet are very strategic about their relationship and when they are in public together. Sources dished earlier this year that Timothee has a lot of important films in the works and he doesn’t want the fact that he’s dating a reality star who is a media staple to get in the way of his career.
The Kardashian family allegedly believes that Kylie should be looking to get all of the free press she can from the romance. However, she’s taking things at the actor’s speed and not forcing him into any uncomfortable situations for now.
