Activision has announced the newest title by developer Platinum Games, TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan.
The reveal comes with a full gameplay trailer, pairing the action-packed frenzy Platinum Games is known for the lovable characters of the TMNT universe, witty banter and same-old memorable personalities you’d come to expect from the turtles included. Players will take control of the turtles as they fight to save New York from the evil Foot Clan led by Shredder and Krang. The dark, cell-shaded graphics give the appearance of a moving comic book, giving the game plenty of personality. We also get a glimpse of classic turtles baddies Bebop and Rocksteady as what appears to be boss battles.

TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan will feature 4-player online co-op in addition to an online 4 player multiplayer mode, no word on local co-op as of now. Online play will also feature voice chat, leaderboards and additional downloadable content.
Platinum Games is known for creating fast, larger than life combat, paired with comic-like characters. Some of their previous titles include the Bayonetta franchise, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and the criminally underrated Vanquish. Platinum Games has gone as far as hiring TMNT comics author Tom Waltz to assure authenticity.
TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan launches Summer 2016, for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PC.
