On Sunday, a few comedians and friends of Brady gathered for a Netflix live Special, The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady. The audience went bonkers during the show as Tom Brady suffered roasts. Most of the jokes and jabs were directed at his failed marriage with Gisele Bündchen. However, despite being the target of countless jests, Brady remained a good sport, joining in on the comedic banter.
Tom Brady Receives the Greatest Roast of All Time
Sunday was a fun-filled day for Tom Brady’s friends as they gathered at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Fans watched as comedians, friends, and former teammates of the 46-year-old fired insults at Brady during a Netflix joke fest. The jokes that drew the most gasps were particularly channeled at the former Quarterback’s divorce from Bündchen. Recall that Brady and the model divorced in 2022, after which she moved on with Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Beginning the greatest roast of all time, Comedian Nikki Glaser joked:
“How much it would suck for Tom… Omg, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a** while eating hers.”
Glaser then took things a bit further, adding:
“Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying ‘yes’ to this roast was when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu.”
Besides Glaser, Tom Brady also suffered roasts from Kevin Hart, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, and even Kim Kardashian. Speaking of Hart, the comedian mocked Brady for choosing to unretire and play one final unsuccessful season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“Gisele gave you an ultimatum. She said you have to retire or you’re done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it,” he said.
Kim Kardashian Mocks Brady’s Looks
Brady’s failed marriage wasn’t the only thing the star received jabs about. He also got insulted for his losses to the New York Giants, his failed crypto commercials, and his looks. Kardashian, who was booed as she got on stage, particularly mocked Brady, noting that she couldn’t date him because “he reminded her too much of her step-dad Caitlyn Jenner.” Well, Brady later got the chance to get back at Kardashian for her comment, and he took it. In his response, Brady went for a low blow as he referenced the socialite’s ex-husband, Kanye West.
“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight…not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,” he said. B
Brady’s comment left the audience roaring and Kardashian shaking her head with a restrained smile. Overall, the event was everything the celebrities and audience could have hoped for. Brady was definitely a good sport, embracing all the roasts with humor and grace.
