Whether you’re new to this title or one of the veterans who have followed the game since its conception on Kickstarter, you might be looking for ways to improve your playthrough. With mods, you can change things like visuals, how fast time passes, or even your money. Even if some are considered a bit broken and might trivialize some aspects of the game, it’s always good to have them close to add a bit of spice to your adventure.
5 Essential Mods for Your Coral Island Playthrough
Even if the game’s been out for a while, there are only a few mods. The only place you can get some of them is WeMod because there’s no official mod support for the game yet. Unfortunately, these mods only work on PC if you have the game on Steam or Xbox Game Pass for PC. However, due to its popularity, we hope we’ll get official ones soon. But, since we have to make do with what we have, here are the ones we recommend.
5 Freeze Bug Alertness
There is nothing more obnoxious and tedious than walking around the island and having an unexpected bug spawning in front of your avatar, only to run away instantly. You often won’t have enough reaction time to equip your bug net and catch that Orchid mantis in the corner of the screen. If catching spiders or moths is not your forte, this mod will make your life 100 times easier, and you can try one of those exotic bug recipes.
4 Unlimited Stamina
As you progress through the game, you can collect consumables to help you recover energy or discover recipes for dishes. But at the beginning of your game, stamina can be low, especially if you don’t have the necessary cooking tools or resources. With this mod, you can do a thousand more things in a single day without recharging your energy bar.
3 Edit Time
There are several mods to change the time, day, month, and even the year. Maybe you think this will not be helpful in your case if you can quickly change your day sleeping or modify how fast a day lasts in the game. But if you were in summer and wanted to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival, you would have to wait almost a whole year. The same goes for if you want to bring forward the birthday of your favorite bachelor or bachelorette. Even if you have a mod for changing the hours, you could do some processes faster.
2 Multiply Relationship Points Get
Yes, interpersonal relationships, especially romantic ones, are already complicated in the real world. In video games, this sometimes changes. For example, in Coral Island, you also have to establish a friendship first and win the affection of this particular person. However, conquering your bachelor or bachelorette is much better when the gifts you give them give you more relationship points.
1 Unlimited Money
If you want to start your farming enterprise and enjoy the luxuries of Coral Island, this is how to do it quickly. You don’t have to worry about fixing your home or how to pay for upgrades; this game has its own “Motherlode.” You’ll still have to collect other materials needed to build or different types of recipes, but there’s nothing that coral money can’t buy in your own tropical paradise. Plus, you can get extra gifts for your favorite bachelors or bachelorettes.

Here, we recommend you play the game at least once without any modifications, and for your second playthrough, add as many as you want to see the game in a different light.
