Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 introduces three new sniper rifles to your HQ armory. These rifles compete with some of the best from the MW2, and now you’ll have 11 SRs combined. However, not all of these sharp-shooting rifles can one-shot your opponents in the game. Each of the sniper rifle class weapons offers a unique stat, some having the best mobility while the other kills the enemies even if you shoot their leg! Here are the best sniper rifles in Modern Warfare 3 – MW3 that you can pick as the current meta.
5. Longbow
By the looks of it, the Longbow sniper rifle feels like one of the Kastov AR family members. It’s not so common to find a sniper rifle with 30 rounds of magazine. Maybe if you put an AK-47 on semi-auto fire, it’d make the look of a Longbow sniper, but this weapon is just different. This rifle’s mobility is one of the best among all, and its large magazine size helps you shoot targets twice if they didn’t die with the first one. And not to mention the super-fast fire rate of this sniper makes it one of the best in the current Modern Warfare 3 meta.
4. KV Enforcer
Balanced is the best word to describe this sniper rifle in Modern Warfare 3. It’s got power and accuracy, and since it’s not a bolt-action rifle, you won’t have to see the rechambering animation after every shot. In fact, the KV Enforcer feels like an equal to the MCPR-300 from the MW2 armory, only if it could deliver more damage.
3. SP-X
If you want to quick scope every opponent with one shot and high mobility, the SP-X is the best sniper rifle in both MW2 and MW3. This rifle comes from the reach platform of Bryson Long Rifle; where SP-R, LA-B, and SA-B are its family. The reason that SP-X stands higher than the Longbow and KV Inhibitor is that it’s a one-shot sniper rifle with a quick ADS time and the best sprint-to-fire speed that’s like no other.
2. MCPR-300
The MCPR-300 is a better version of the KV Inhibitor in terms of stats. It comes with a 10-round magazine, and it is more powerful than the SP-X in damage range and how you can one-shot opponents when targeting their upper body. This is all while the mobility of this weapon is quite manageable and easy to deal with.
1. Katt-AMR
Katt-AMR is the ultimate sniper that gives the heavy Victus XMR a run for its money. Every shot sounds like a missile, and if you manage to hit the target with Katt-AMR, you can be very sure that he’s dead. This is the best sniper rifle to pick in MW3 – Modern Warfare 3, however, it’s a little heavy to do quick scopes with.
Now while the Katt beats them all in raw power and accuracy, each of these rifles has their own advantages. SP-X is the best rifle for doing quick scopes, while MCPR-300 has a balance of power and mobility. KV Inhibitor is a heavy hitter that allows you to shoot in semi-auto mode, and the Longbow sniper rifle is a quick weapon with a large magazine and super-fast bullet rechambering speed.
