Total War: Warhammer 3 has today launched its 1.0.1 update on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update is quite small, though that is completely to be expected. Considering the game just released, it’s hard to have a heap of fixes to discuss. Still, I can’t imagine players are complaining about having quick fixes for a game that’s so critically acclaimed and is played by so many. Chances are that future updates will offer more in terms of fixes, but everyone can rest easy knowing the team is at least being adamant. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Total War: Warhammer 3 in its 1.0.1 update!
Total War: Warhammer 3 Update 1.0.1 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue where the multiplayer lobby would refresh too quickly, preventing players from being able to select and join a room.
- Fixed an issue which prevented invites to a multiplayer lobby from working properly.
- The game now runs in DirectX 11 compatibility mode for all users by default. This is to prevent instances where users inadvertently ran on the legacy implementation of the DirectX 12 beta.
- Improved how 12th generation Intel CPUs (aka ‘Alder Lake’ family) interact with the game, providing more consistent framerates when running on these processors.
As said, we aren’t looking at too much here. With that being said, each of these fixes are quite substantial. The main focus appears to be towards multiplayer, which has a few fixes that help ensure you can get into slaughtering each other just a little more smoothly. The next fixes refer to specific use cases, with DirectX 11 being default being useful for players with lower end systems. The final note, on the other hand, improves the experience for those with a top-of-the-line set of hardware.
Total War: Warhammer 3 and update 1.0.1 are available exclusively on PC through Windows, Mac, or Linux. For more information regarding this update, check out the official website.
