Onions are one of the many common ingredients in Tower of Fantasy used for cooking recipes that provide benefits in combat. Of course, Aesperian Onions can be eaten raw, but like in real life, they do not offer much nutrition or taste when consumed on their own. Instead, Wanderers are encouraged to take their bulbous veggie to a cooking pot and create delicious dishes such as the Truffle Fried Rice or Barnacle Seafood Pizza. So naturally, Tower of Fantasy fans looking to cook these meals will need to know where to find and farm Onions in Aesperia.
Farming Onions in Tower of Fantasy
Unlike most ingredients and cooking materials in Tower of Fantasy, Onions cannot be found or farmed in the open world. Instead, players must visit a Food Vendor who sells the vegetable. One such NPC is Mrs. Taylor, an older woman who stands outside the entrance of Ruin A-01 in Astra, the starting region of the game.

Thanks to some footage recorded by YouTuber ZaFrostPet, Wanderers can know the exact location of Mrs. Taylor, an Onion-selling Food Vendor in Tower of Fantasy. Players can purchase up to 99 stacks of Onions per day, costing 60 Gold each. Alternatively, players can visit another NPC named Harriet, located in the Banges Docks of the Banges region. For clarification, below is a small index of each Food Vendor’s location, including their coordinates:
Food Vendor | Location | Coordinates |
Mrs. Taylor | Ruin A-01, east of Astra Shelter | (-277.1, 293.3) |
Harriet | Banges Docks | (-786.6, 775.0) |

There is also an ingredient known as the Sand Onion, which is a different resource than the normal reddish Onion of Aesperia. According to GosuNoob, this resource is allegedly acquired from Vera, a region in Tower of Fantasy that will not become available until the release of the game’s 2.0 update. Therefore, Wanderers who know about this ingredient must wait until Vera comes out to use it in their cooking recipes.
Tower of Fantasy is available on PC, Android, and iOS.
