Since the NFL star began dating Taylor Swift a year ago, he has reached a new level of fame very fast. However, that new fame isn’t always a good thing. Recently, a man was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot Kelce and his QB, Patrick Mahomes, at a Morgan Wallen concert.
Radar Online reports that the threats were made via Twitter, as Aaron Brown was arrested by police overseeing the event. Brown confirmed where he was in Arrowhead Stadium, as the show was delayed 40 minutes. It was also reported that Aaron Brown deleted the tweet that threatened Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. “It was a stupid, stupid mistake,” the defendant claimed.
Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Dodged a Bullet
While Mahomes was at the show with his wife, Brittany, Swift could not join Kelce as she was in Europe for her concert. Brown was also at the Wallen show with his girlfriend as she told him “not to post the tweet.”
These threats come not too long after Taylor Swift’s alleged stalker was arrested after threatening the singer. After that news broke, Travis Kelce’s father took to Facebook to share his feelings.
However, despite all the drama, the show went on as Morgan Wallen performed in a Kansas City Chiefs jersey. Wallen rocked number seven with his name on the back. However, number seven is Harrison Butker’s number. Butker recently faced some backlash for his outrageous comments about women.
Travis Kelce did not really have anything to say about his teammate’s comments, and neither did Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are looking to cement their dynasty and win their third straight Super Bowl.
