Through three games, Travis has only 69 yards and zero touchdowns. This is a far cry from previous seasons, where he would be lighting up opposing defenses. Many fans seem to believe that this is Taylor Swift’s fault for dragging Kelce around the globe all offseason.
According to OK Magazine, these claims came after Travis Kelce recorded only four receptions for 30 yards in the Chiefs’ last away game against the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor Swift was also noticeably missing from the crowd for that game. Sports analyst Todd McShay recently said that Kelce was “out of shape.” Is this really Swift’s fault?

“Every show I watch, every pregame show, halftime show, postgame show, weekday show, every broadcast I watch for the last few weeks, it’s like, are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape? That he’s been partying all offseason? He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world,” McShay questioned of Kelce — who went public with his and Swift’s romance in September 2023.
Travis and his Chiefs are looking to win their third straight Super Bowl. A three-peat in the NFL is something that has never been done before. However, with how Kelce is playing right now, it may be out of their reach. Travis seems to be more focused on what Taylor is doing than playing his 100% best.
