Tsukihime Visual Novel Remake Announces Its Release Date

Tsukihime is a manga, anime, and eroge video game adapted as a visual novel. In addition, this work was what started the entire Type-Moon universe, which also includes the Fate franchise. The original title was released in 2000, while its remake has been available in Japan since 2021. It has been a long wait for fans on this side of the world. But Aniplex announced that Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon Remake has a release date for the West and did so with a new trailer on its YouTube Channel.

In the first Tsukihime game, they introduce Shiki Tohno, a boy who had a severe accident in his childhood that gave him the power to see strange lines. These lines are connected to objects and people, but if he cuts some of these lines, he destroys whatever is connected to them. Additionally, Shiki Tohno meets Arcueid, a girl with whom he will search for secrets about his past and power. For Tsukihime Remake, the dev included:

  • More routes in the game.
  • New voices for the characters.
  • Better visual details.
  • A storyline.

For this reason, the fan community is so excited to know that the release date of Tsukihime Remake will be in Summer 2024.

If you’re a fan of Type-Moon, you should know that Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon also continues its story in Kagetsu Tohya and Melty Blood games. These titles have many characters and plots in common, which are essential to follow the chronology. Plus, they both have their respective adaptations.
