Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home, but unfortunately, some people end up with neighbors who make that impossible. That’s the reality for one woman in Colorado who’s been dealing with an unhinged neighbor for quite some time, and things just keep getting worse.
In a video she shared online, the woman confronted the man for assaulting her and pinning her to the ground. Shockingly, he didn’t even deny it. Fearing that he might also target her car, she set up a Ring camera to keep watch. But instead of backing off, the man proved just how unstable he is by repeatedly covering her camera with empty cans.
It’s clear this guy isn’t just a nuisance, he’s dangerous.
What is even scarier is that the police didn’t help the Colorado woman at all. They charged her with spreading false information when she talked about how the neighbor pinned her to the ground. During this incident, he told her that she is just a woman and he is a man, meaning that he is more powerful than her. This would be scary to any woman. To prove that she was telling the truth, she placed another camera pointing at her original Ring camera. Thanks to this, she managed to film him hiding her camera with an empty can.
This situation just kept getting worse. The victim posted another video showing the unhinged guy ripping out her Ring camera and throwing it away. She wrote in the comments that this video will help her case as she said, “oh he has already pinned me to the ground before while walking my dog and cspd arrested me for false information. (up to 90 days in jail and 2500 fine. But this video obviously helps my case lol.).” There was also an additional video where she was confronting him saying that she got him on camera. He just kept staring at her before giving her the middle finger like he didn’t care.
Thankfully, the cops finally started doing something to help the Colorado woman. They came to serve her neighbor with a citation for tampering, but he didn’t open the door. They ended up saying that he now has three warrants for his arrest because of that. The police also asked the woman for the man’s license plates and what car he drives to help them. He definitely should be arrested because he is also harassing other women. “Oh it’s not just against me. Other. Neighbors have problems with him too. Especially single female tenants like me. Seems to be his MO, some kind of power thing,” she wrote.
What Happened Next
More updates kept coming in. In a video posted by the woman, you could hear a police officer knocking on her neighbor’s door and asking to talk to him. She ended up having to buy a gun to protect herself. She has also recently posted an update that the police finally managed to talk to him. “For whatever reason they didn’t arrest him. Even after lying to the cops twice. (yet they arrested me in August for calling 911 and charged me with spreading false information.)However the good news is he was served his citations for the 3 misdemeanors and knows he must appear in court or he will have a warrant. Hopefully he doesn’t appear, gets a warrant and then gets picked up and has to wait in jail lol. But if he shows, I got all the evidence to disprove his lies,” she wrote.
The video of him talking to the police is the final video that the woman posted about the situation. The entire thing is terrifying, and it’s shocking that the police haven’t arrested him yet. Police should have acted quickly because what if something had happened to the Colorado woman? She was attacked, threatened, and forced into buying a gun to protect herself. Hopefully, she will stay safe while she handles this unfortunate situation.
People Reacting to the Unhinged Colorado Man’s Actions
Everything the Colorado man did left people terrified for his neighbor’s safety. Many believed he fully intended to harm her, with one person writing, “He has full intent to hurt you. I can’t believe this monster walks the streets.”
Thousands of viewers also commented on the video showing him trying to hide her camera. “Yep, that’s for sure illegal,” one person wrote. Several others urged her to move somewhere safer, prompting her to respond, “I’m giving it one last shot to get him served, and if it proves unsuccessful again, then yeah, I might be doing that. Just sucks because this place is great minus him.”
Many people continued to offer advice to the Colorado woman. One commenter wrote, “He’s a psycho! If you’ve reported him to your apartment complex and they’re doing nothing about it, sue them!” In one of her videos, she mentioned that management had already told her they wouldn’t do anything, which made the situation even more frustrating.
Hundreds of others urged her to stay as safe as possible. “Girl, do whatever you can to stay safe. Even if he gets evicted, he knows where you live. He’s already proven himself violent, and he’ll only be more enraged once he’s released from jail. Cameras are a good start, but I would even look into moving,” one person warned.
Hopefully, this entire situation ends peacefully, and she’s able to get the protection she deserves.
