The short video opened with a woman from the protest group saying, “We are sorry about that.” It wasn’t clear what she was apologizing for or whether it was a genuine apology or a sarcastic one.
The camera then showed the MAGA man sitting in his car, stopped in front of protesters who were standing on the sidewalk. With half of his body leaning out the window, he began shouting at the woman and others nearby. “No, you aren’t sorry!” he yelled.
In Washington, the confrontation grew more serious. The MAGA supporter didn’t just yell, he threatened violence, telling a protester, “You wanna get shot like Javier Hernandez?” and added, “You think it’s a joke?” He hurled slurs at immigrants, claiming they come to America to kill Americans. Then, instead of staying put, he got back into his car and began driving off, though you’d think he’d be focused on the road, instead he leaned out the window to continue shouting. Ultimately, things ended badly for him: the video shows him crashing his car as he sped away. The same protester could be heard laughing just before the crash appeared. Many people were glad to see what happened to the Washington MAGA man. His behavior was unacceptable, and viewers felt he got what was coming to him.
