V Rising: Best Solo Settings

The castle ain’t big enough for two vampires

V Rising is fun with others and was technically made to be a survival multiplayer RPG; however, you can still enjoy it as a more chill and challenging solo PvE adventure with the right settings. Luckily, we’re here to help you streamline the process, which lets you solo the whole world without the help of other vampire hands.

The focus for these settings is to help you minimize the grind since you’re doing everything on your own. At the same time, there’s still plenty of challenge involved here to help you feel like you’re progressing as a true vampire lord. Assuming you’ve picked Private Game, select Game Settings, and here’s how they should be tweaked:

Feel free to tweak these around to your preference. I recommend leaving the Progression tab alone since giving yourself gear will practically nullify goals, bosses, and exploration. It’s worth noting that you can actually still change these settings, and they are not permanent. We’ll explain how in the next section below.

How to Change the Solo Settings Mid-Game

Simply opening the main menu in-game won’t show you the settings above, and you’ll have to follow these steps to bring them up again:

  1. Quit to Main Menu (Save & Exit)
  2. On the Main Menu, select ‘Load Game.’
  3. Under Local Saves, select the save file you want to modify, and look on the right panel for the ‘Edit Settings‘ text. Select it.
  4. This will bring up the Game Settings above, and you can then modify the metrics and numbers to your liking.
  5. Save the settings by selecting ‘Save‘, then select ‘Back.’
  6. Select ‘Host Game‘ once you’re ready to play.

You can do this infinitely if you still want to keep adjusting.
