Venom 3 is moving forward as it is in pre-production, Tom Hardy confirmed in a video posted on Instagram. The video showed a deleted scene from the first film of Eddie Brock and his symbiote companion going to the hospital as they are in a tug-of-war match about going.
Tom Hardy reprises his role in Venom 3 for the fourth time. He has starred in the first two films and had a cameo in the post-credit scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While the scene gives him an appearance in the MCU, it is uncertain what the future lies ahead for him as the comic book character outside of the third standalone film.
“Whilst working on V3 pre prep,” Tom Hardy wrote on Instagram about Venom 3.
No plot details are known about the third film. Kelly Marcel, who wrote the previous two films, will write and direct the next movie.

Each Venom film has had a different director. The first was helmed by Uncharted director Ruben Fleischer. Let There Be Carnage saw Andy Serkis sit in the director’s chair. The first grossed $856 million at the box office. The sequel, although grossed in the pandemic era, grossed a respectable $506 million worldwide.
2023 and 2024 look like busy years for Tom Hardy, which includes the 2024 date for Venom 3. He will star in War Party by Blonde director Andrew Dominik. He will join Michael Shannon and Austin Butler for the crime drama The Bikeriders. Later this year, he will star in Gareth Evans’ (The Raid) thriller Havoc. On the TV side of things, he will join Zazie Beetz for the Apple TV+ series Lazarus.
Venom 3 will hit theaters in 2024. It is rumored to begin filming from June to September. With pre-production going, it sounds that will likely be the case.
