Insomniac has finally graced us with a new story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The upcoming superhero game is another of the most anticipated titles of this year, as it brings Miles and Peter into the same game. If that wasn’t enough, the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game will feature Venom and Harry Osborn playing prominent roles throughout the story. This is exciting as many fans have speculated several plot details and the trailer hints at some of the fans’ suspicions.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Story Trailer Gives Us the First Official Look at Venom
The biggest highlights of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 story trailer include the first look at Venom in the game. The symbiote villain is given more screen time, as we can see him wreaking havoc in New York. A while ago, the developers claimed Eddie Brock wouldn’t be Venom like he is in his original origin. Due to the first game’s post-credit scene, many gamers were thinking about Harry hosting the famous symbiote. The identity of Venom is still unknown as of this trailer, but at least we saw a bit of how he will appear in the game. In a short scene, we see some scientists arriving to what seems to be a crash site. This could be the place where the symbiote is found, but again, it’s all speculation. One thing we’re happy to see is that Insomniac is going all out with Peter embracing the new symbiote powers, something we think we’ll have big repercussions throughout the game.
