Warframe: Arcane Steadfast Farming Guide (The Fast Way)

Named after the attitude you need for farming it.

This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Arcane Steadfast has always remained in the shadows of the more popular and potent Arcanes such as Arcane Energize in Warframe. However, with the release of the new Dante Warframe, Arcane Steadfast might have actually found its most practical use. It’s still hard to find and farm, of course, like most Arcanes. That’s why to help you build your Dante better (and for a more affordable price in Platinum), here’s how to farm Arcane Steadfast in Warframe.

Arcane Steadfast Stats & Gameplay Impact

To convince you that it’s one of the best alternatives to Arcane Energize especially for a Warframe like Dante, let’s look at Arcane Steadfast’s effects.

  • On Ability Cast: 20% chance that the next 3 Abilities will not cost Energy.

That’s for the Rank 5 version of the Arcane. At its lowest Rank 0, the chance is down to just +5%. However, it’s still three free Abilities. If you combine it with Zenurik’s passive, Inner Might which has the same effect (but on a 60-second cooldown), you can have a total of four free Ability casts.

For Dante, that’s a massive gameplay boost. He’s one of the most Energy-hungry Warframes as of late and Arcane Steadfast lets you pull off one full damage rotation for Dante (two 3rd Ability casts, and one 4th Ability cast). That saves up a total of 100 Energy and this 20 percent chance can happen consecutively if you’re lucky.

You won’t need the more expensive Arcane Energize anymore for Dante if you have this Arcane.

Thankfully, Arcane Steadfast is easier to farm. No Eidolon hunting is needed, just pure mission grinding and certainly no need for a try-hard squad.

Arcane Steadfast can be given as a reward upon completing Rotation C (every 4th Round/every 20 waves) of the Mirror Defense node on Tyana Pass, Mars, or Munio, Deimos.

Even then, the chance of getting a piece of Arcane Steadfast is low at 5.7%. And you need 21 Arcane Steadfasts to bring it up to Rank 5.

The good news is that there are other rewards in Mirror Defense missions and you most often won’t be alone in the grind, even for public matches. The bad news (apart from the low reward chance) is that Defense missions are some of the slowest mission types in Warframe.

To speed it up, consider the following tips:

  • Bring Titania for gathering drops
  • Bring either Vauba, Khora, Gara, Wisp, Mesa, or Mirage to either kill enemies faster or provide excellent crowd control.
  • Prepare to sink in several hours for this farming session.

Or if you think you can earn 600 Platinum faster through player trading than grinding out in Mirror Defense, then feel free to do so. Players typically Arcane Steadfast Rank 5 for 500-700 Platinum.
