Every once in a while, Nora will throw you something disruptive in her Nightwave Battle Pass, namely an Elite Weekly task requiring you to complete the Halls of Ascension four times. Nora certainly wants you to earn your keep for this objective; the Halls of Ascension are some of the toughest mobility challenges in Warframe. We recommend making good use of our Warframe Halls of Ascension guide if you want to be less intimidated by this special challenge.
What Are the Halls of Ascension in Warframe?
They’re simply rare(ish) puzzle rooms you need to find in Lua missions (Orokin Moon tileset). If you haven’t seen any even now, that’s because Halls of Ascension spawn randomly. If you’re unlucky, none will spawn in a Lua mission. There are also instances when multiple will spawn in a single Lua mission.
To help you find the Halls of Ascension better, you can look for the banners with Orokin writings pictured in the image above. As for getting Halls of Ascension to spawn in Warframe, you’re going to need a bit of luck.
How to Find Halls of Ascension
While we mentioned that they spawn randomly, certain mission types in Lua can give you better chances. Run the following mission types to shorten your search.
- Crossfire – They seem to spawn here the most often based on player anecdotes. There’s still luck involved.
- Capture – If you want to search even faster and rinse and repeat if you don’t find any, then Capture missions would be the most efficient use of your time.
- Mobile Defense – Halls of Ascension found in Mobile Defense missions in Lua have a tendency to spawn in defense terminals.
Just keep playing those until you finally spot one.
Types of Halls of Ascension
Now, just because a Hall of Ascension spawns in a mission doesn’t mean the hard part is done. There are many Halls of Ascension types, and some require a squad.
Here’s a rundown of the different types, their rewards, and the best way to complete them. The Hall types spawn randomly, too, mind you.
- Agility Test – Rewards Agility Drift mod. Bring Titania or Wukong for better mid-air maneuverability.
- Collaboration Test – Rewards Coaction Drift mod. Either use your Operator mode and Spectres or just bring three other players.
- Cunning Test – Rewards Cunning Drift mod. Trick the Security Eye into destroying the water pipes/pillars.
- Endurance Test – Rewards Endurance Drift mod. Again, you can just use Operator mode or bring three other players.
- Power Test – Rewards Power Drift mod. Find four spheres on the walls and then feed them 40 Energy each by standing near them. For faster charging, use the Operator’s Void attacks.
- Speed Test – Rewards Speed Drift mod. Use Nezha, Wukong, or Titania to move fast as soon as the doors open.
- Stealth Test – Rewards Stealth Drift mod. Bring another player for easier completion or use your Operator mode. Avoid the blue lasers at all costs.
Some tests, such as the Stealth Test, cannot be restarted, so make sure you give it your best on the first try. You’ll also want to prioritize Power Drift and Cunning Drift since they’re the most sought-after.
