This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Some of the quests in Warframe are old and remained as they were way before the game introduced its current quality-of-life upgrades. The Hidden Messages quest in Warframe is one of those quests. It’s Mirage’s story and lore exposition, but it comes with an added twist where you have to guess some riddles — thrice, just to progress the quest. For all you newbies out there or those who have put off the activity, here’s a guide for the Warframe Hidden Messages quest.

First things first, you need to have completed the Pluto to Sedna Junction area. After that, you’ll get the Hidden Messages quest.

The quest, as we mentioned earlier, is an introductory story to Mirage, the Warframe that specializes in illusion abilities. She’s one of the best Warframes in the game. Her quest, for that matter, will reward you with the full set of Mirage parts to craft.

It’s a rather short quest, thankfully, and you only have to finish these mission types during the quest:

  • Exterminate
  • Survival
  • Hive Sabotage

That’s three missions that you can complete within a total of 30 minutes. However, before you can access those missions, you’ll need to figure out the answer to some riddles.

The answer to these riddles will point you to the actual mission locations. If you still want to guess, then here’s a clue: they’re all related to Greek mythology.

This is riddle one, and you must unlock it before you can proceed to the Exterminate mission:

Three parts, three acts, three riddles for thee –
to revive the one wielding fantasy
Ancient gods so cruel, once ruled from on high

Can you name their peak where the land meets the sky?

Answer: Olympus, Mars. After finishing that, you’ll be rewarded with the Mirage Neuroptics Blueprint.

Riddle two is the same affair and leads to a Survival mission:

To build the one you think witty,
seek the nymph who sang oh so pretty.
She lured him in with her song and grin,

his wife must’ve thought it a pity.

Answer: Calypso, Saturn. Finishing its corresponding Survival mission will reward you with a Mirage Systems Blueprint. Note that this Survival mission is different as it takes 15 minutes instead of the usual five.

Finally, riddle three is as follows:

One more act before your prize is caught.
An ancient sea creature, take a whirl or not?
Look for the monster that swallowed sailors of yore.

Make a mistake and you’re sunk. Nothing more.

Answer: Charybdis, Sedna. Go there and complete a quick Hive Sabotage mission with the standard tasks. Completing it will reward you with the Mirage Chassis Blueprint.

Afterward, the quest will conclude, and you can purchase the Mirage Blueprint in the in-game Market to start crafting Mirage.
