Warframe New Nightwave Vol. 7 Guide (Rewards & Items to Buy)

It’s that time again, Dreamers

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Warframe‘s new Nightwave is finally here and with it comes a new lineup of gear upgrades, cosmetics, and rewards for all players. This time around, there’s no new episodic story, the new Warframe Nightwave is aptly called Nora’s Mix Volume 7. However, the rewards are interesting and should provide you with a good seasonal goal for several months. You will need to be wise about Nightwave, of course, so here’s a guide on what it is and how to reap its rewards.

How Nightwave Works in Warframe

For new players (or relatively new players), Nightwave is Warframe‘s own version of the battle pass mechanic that’s common live-service games, as popularized by Fortnite. The difference is that Nightwave won’t compel you to spend real money.

The Nightwave battle pass, accessible through the Navigation menu on the Orbiter, is completely free and you only need to do these refreshing activities to progress the battle pass track:

Act/ChallengeReward
Daily1,000 Points
Weekly4,500 Points
Elite Weekly7,000 Points

As you can expect, Daily challenges refresh daily and you can repeat them at that frequency. Weekly challenges reward more but you can do them less frequently, and they are more difficult to achieve. Meanwhile, Elite Weekly challenges reward the most Nightwave points but are typically the hardest.

You need 10,000 Nightwave points for each level of the battle pass track and each level also contains rewards. Most of them require cosmetics and Cred (Nightwave Offering currency), but there are some notable gameplay-changing upgrades to look out for:

RewardPurpose
Nora’s Mix Vol. 7 Cred x150 (Rank 1)For purchasing Cred Offerings
2x Weapon Slots (Rank 3)Lets you have more weapons
Stalker Specter Blueprint (Rank 6)Lets you summon the Stalker as an ally
Melee Riven Mod (Rank 9)Random powerful weapon mod
Forma Bundle (Rank 12)Three polarity upgrade materials
Arcane Precision x3 (Rank 14)Warframe passive ability upgrade
Burning Hate mod (Rank 15)Hate-exclusive weapon mod
Warframe Slot (Rank 18)Lets you have more Warframes
Stance Forma (Rank 20)Universal polarity for your weapons
Unseen Dread (Rank 25)Dread-exclusive weapon mod
Aura Forma (Rank 26)Universal aura polarity for your Warframes
Umbra Forma (Rank 29)Special Warframe upgrade for Umbra mods

Additionally, there are more rewards you can purchase by learning the Nora’s Mix Cred in the Nightwave reward track. Simply select ‘Cred Offerings’ in the Nightwave menu to reveal it. However, since Nightwave Cred is finite until you reach Rank 30+, you might want to limit your spending to the following items to suit your needs better:

Cred OfferingCost
Orokin Reactor / Catalyst75 Cred each
Nitain Extract5x for 15 Cred
Vauban Blueprints25 Cred for each part
Kuva10,000x for 50 Cred
Weapon & Warframe mods20 Cred each
Weapon blueprints (Glaive, Dark Dagger, Dark Sword)50 Cred each

These are the Cred Offering items that offer the most gameplay impact. Others are mostly cosmetics and something that I don’t recommend prioritizing. You never know when you might suddenly need Nitain or Orokin Reactors.
