Focus Entertainment has recently put out an extended gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. In this almost 9-minute-long trailer, players are shown a huge segment of seamless gameplay. Based on the amount shown, this trailer gives a good example of what the new release will have to offer on release. Between amazing-looking graphics and fluid combat, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is looking like a strong game.

Space Marine 2 Shows Off Bloody Action In Extended Gameplay Trailer

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Extended Gameplay Trailer

The Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 gameplay trailer begins with a walk through Warhammer’s grim landscape. The landscape is full of large, cathedral-esque buildings and soldiers commenting on the smell of the planet. So far, this setting captures the style of Warhammer very well. After a short walk, we are shown some of the action that players can expect in the new release. Here, the trailer shows off a variety of attacks and finishers, including brutally bisecting enemies with a chainsword.  Additionally, players have spotted the allies that can join players as AI or through co-op. The trailer ends with a call to action to sign up for the game’s Beta.

Warhammer 40,000 Has Never Looked Better In Videogame Form

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooter, hack-n-slash game. Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, players will take control of a superhuman Space Marine, a futuristic soldier who fights for the Imperium of Man. As shown in the extended gameplay trailer, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 takes a heavy focus on action, primarily having players cut through massive swarms of enemies with ranged and melee attacks. This new release is a sequel to the original Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, which came out in 2011. Titus, the main character from the first entry, returns to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, albeit with a new voice actor.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set to release this winter. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
