Warhammer: Vermintide 2 DLC is out now, featuring some new fun players can get their hands on! On the platform of Steam, players grab their free DLC content. Titled “Chaos Wastes,” announced today by independent developer Fatshark. Being the next addition to Vermintide 2, giving players something new to experience.
Furthermore, within the next chapter. Players are tasked with the mission of reaching the Citadel of Eternity, which is going to be rough, to say the least. For the sole reason, players have to leave their hard-earned armor and weapons behind to take on a new threat dating back 3 years ago.
The content takes place 3 years in the past, where it essentially all began. Meaning players have to go back to the basics of equipment, as well as skills. While this may sound like a nuisance to some fans. The reason behind it makes sense due to the Chaos Wastes turning back time to a somewhat prequel of Warhammer Vermintide 2.
The trek can only be completed by a true pilgrim to navigate through to the unpredictable region without a map and where no journey is the same. The Citadel of Eternity is a place most have only heard of through rumors. It is said to be located in a region under the influence of the Chaos Gods and apparently Saltzpyre knows how to get there – or so he claims.
The DLC content was announced on April 13, with a trailer showing off what players are in for. Amongst the trailer teased what’s to come within the next chapter – Chaos Wastes.
We are excited to invite everyone that owns Warhammer: Vermintide 2 to join us in the Chaos Wastes adventure.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “The Chaos Wastes expansion is available for free for all players regardless of system. – Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark.
