Call of Duty: Warzone 2, one of the highly anticipated games of 2022, kicked out a while ago. The free-to-play battle royale game is a sequel to 2020’s Call of Duty: Warzone. It features cross-platform play and a new extraction mode named DMZ. In short, the title was met with plenty of excitement from the gaming committee and currently climbs to the top of the Steam charts. But it seems like there is a bug that decreases the gameplay experience and, of course, players’ excitement. A new bug discovered in Warzone 2 instantly kills players in situations where they should have been down.
A New Warzone 2 Bug Instantly Kills Downed Players
It is quite normal for a newly released game to have bugs and glitches. Developers eliminate all this with updates that come over time. The gaming committee faced numerous issues in 2020’s Call of Duty: Warzone, so the same was expected from its sequel. At this point, a new bug discovered in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, which debuted yesterday, threatens to derail the excitement of the players.
As pointed out by numerous players, the new bug causes Warzone 2 is skipping over the downed state animation and eliminates players in situations where they should have been down. This causes a fatally damaged player to pass a downed state and be killed directly and sent to the Gulag.
Thankfully, developer Raven Software is aware of this and started working on solving the issue. By the way, fans have noticed that the Call of Duty Trello board has been updated to include a working task for this bug. But still, the Trello board does not indicate when the error will be resolved. Therefore, players have to deal with this problem for a while.
Call of Duty Warzone 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
