Numerous activists have been drawing online attention in recent months as protests against the current administration and Donald Trump continue to play out in public spaces. Washington DC, especially the area around the White House, has become a regular backdrop for these confrontations. One activist who has been popping up frequently is a man known online as Dawokefarmer, a figure who has built a following by staging loud, confrontational protests aimed at federal agencies and law enforcement.

This time, Dawokefarmer was protesting directly in front of the White House in Washington DC, where Secret Service agents are a constant presence. According to videos and accounts circulating online, the activist spent hours engaging with passersby, MAGA supporters, and multiple officers. Things escalated when his focus turned squarely toward the Secret Service.

During the protest, the activist began openly insulting Secret Service agents, accusing them of being “pedophile protectors” and “Nazi pawns.” He repeatedly claimed they cared more about their paychecks than the country and said they lacked a spine for continuing to do their jobs under the current administration. He also said he had delivered similar insults to ICE agents and members of the National Guard in past encounters.

At several points, Dawokefarmer stepped closer to the Secret Service agents, loudly pointing out that some of them did not appear to have visible badge numbers. While the agents largely tried to remain professional and calm, video clips show visible frustration as the insults continued. The activist appeared unfazed, continuing to mock them and even asking whether they could “smell Trump’s dirty diapers,” a comment that further raised tensions in the already charged environment of Washington DC.

Despite the verbal barrage, the activist was not arrested immediately. The situation changed later when he got into a heated argument with a pro-Trump supporter nearby. Both men were yelling at each other, but witnesses noted that Dawokefarmer was significantly louder and more aggressive in tone. As the shouting match escalated, a Secret Service agent stepped in and arrested the activist.

He was later released, but Dawokefarmer quickly claimed his rights had been violated. According to him, the arrest had nothing to do with public safety and everything to do with bruised egos. He argued that the real reason he was taken into custody was because he had insulted the Secret Service earlier. In his view, the agents should have simply positioned themselves between him and the MAGA supporter and told both parties to back off. He insisted that while he was shouting, he was not inciting violence or physically threatening anyone, and therefore did not deserve to be arrested.

Online reaction to the Washington DC incident has been sharply divided. Some users sided with the activist, arguing that the Secret Service agents were clearly annoyed and acted out of emotion. One commenter wrote, “You hurt his lil feelings with some truth,” suggesting the arrest was personal rather than procedural. Another user criticized the agents’ professionalism, saying they should be able to control their emotions, especially while being recorded in public.

Others, however, were far less sympathetic to Dawokefarmer. Several commenters pointed out that there were families and children nearby during the confrontation. One user called the activist’s behavior reprehensible, saying that shouting like that near a father walking with his wife and young children crossed a line and undermined the message he was trying to make.
