Racism in the U.S. doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon during Trump’s rule. It might appear to some to be getting even worse. A new form of racism was seen in Washington when a racist ride was promoting a website for whites only. Apparently, the website is made so that White people can use it to date each other. What happened to normal dating apps? I thought everyone used them. I guess this is one way to promote your website.
On the car, you can see the link to the website, which starts with WhiteDate (a really creative name). They then make sure to point out that it’s only for Whites as they write, “Exclusive dating for Whites.” Now, if you thought the previous information made the website owners racist wait till you hear the last phrase. The final writing on the car reads, “Whites will perish if Whites procreate with Non-Whites.” First of all, that’s incredibly racist. Second of all, I don’t trust anyone who uses the word procreate, and neither should you.
Social Media Reactions to the Washington Racist Website
Just like you would expect, people were upset by the car as many agreed that it was racist. The owner of the post stated what group will be using this website as they wrote, “Nah, it’s just for closeted incels.” Another believed that the sentences on the car can only be understood in one way. “All I see is ‘I am a virgin’,” they wrote. Someone else was surprised by how clean the Washington car looked. “That vehicle is in unreasonably good condition,” they said. Another person replied by saying, “Yeah, I’m shocked seeing as it has ‘please vandalize me in creative fashion’ written all over it.” Some people started hinting at how they should react, as one Redditor commented, “it would be a real shame if their website was overrun with catfishing accounts.”
The attacks didn’t just stop at the website; it also reached the wrap business that put these racist statements on the car. “It’s sitting outside the wrap business that put the advertisement on it,” OP wrote. Someone else said, “Says a lot about the wrap business.” The owner of the post then proceeded to say the name of the wrap company in case anyone wanted to leave a review on Yelp or something. People kept coming after both the website and the company as someone else said, “As well as the wrap company that did it. Their front page should be replaced with ‘we support racist incels’.” Since it was noticeable that the car looked clean, a few wanted to change this. “What the heck? Why are those tires still holding air??” one Redditor asked. Honestly, if you need a website named WhiteDate to find a date, that is pretty pathetic.
