What Does E.U.C. Mean in Sons of the Forest?

A much quicker way to get around.

If you spend any amount of time in Sons of the Forest, you’ll likely come across the term “E.U.C.” E.U.C. doesn’t mean anything bad, so don’t worry yourself about it. Rather than being anything intimidating or confusing, it’s actually a rather helpful bit of information to have within Sons of the Forest. If you’re tired of running from area to area and wasting hours each day, then E.U.C. might actually be exactly what you need.

Travel in Sons of the Forest has been quite slow since the game’s initial release into Early Access. Everything that required any type of travel had you spending large portions of your day using up your stamina by running, and often walking. That said, what we’ve needed from the start is a more reliable form of transportation, which just so happens to be in the form of the E.U.C. Knight V, or the Endnight Utility Cruiser Knight V.

The E.U.C. allows you to traverse the vast beaches and unending forests in Sons of the Forest without wasting any stamina and at a much quicker pace. The Knight V is a unique for of transportation that strongly resembles a motorized unicycle. You might think it’s a bit odd, and believe me, it is, but it makes travel so much more convenient. However, while a motorized unicycle sounds great, it also sounds pretty dangerous. I don’t know about you, but I’ve actually tried riding a unicycle before and it’s a lot harder than it looks. While you don’t have to worry about keeping your balance on the E.U.C. Knight V, you’ll still need to watch out for obstacles that could send you hurdling through the air at impressive speeds.

There is one small problem with the Knight V. You can’t store it in your backpack. That said, any time you need to pull out a weapon or use a food item, you’ll be out of luck. You can choose to leave your E.U.C. Knight V where it stands until you can come back and get it, but that could also mean you might potentially lose it. You could also take advantage of the impressive speeds that the Knight V displays and ride it back to your home base, leaving the enemy cannibals in your dust.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
