Regardless of the current season in Once Human, you can still meet the challenges of previous seasons. One of the most confusing for me involved the Treant beast within the Of Mist and Mirage season. You’re asked to use an Incendiary Blast to defeat one of the Tangled Vines within the battle. However, it doesn’t provide any context for what that actually means. Let’s take a look at what this means and how to use it against the Treant beast.
Completing the Incendiary Blast Challenge
An Incendiary Blast is just that, a blast that results in fire damage. As such, you can complete this challenge by loading up on Molotov cocktails and throwing them at a Tangled Vine until you defeat it. The vines are large, with bulbous red centers; that’s where you want to aim.
The vines can be difficult to take down with just these, but you can’t use other incendiary weapons. The vines come down slowly and hit heavily, so time your throw and carefully maneuver around them so as not to take so much damage. You’ll immediately be told that you’ve achieved one of the season goals, with the option to press the Y key to take a look and claim the 20 Mitsuko’s Marks.
How to Make Molotov Cocktails
You can find Molotov cocktails in weapon and storage containers all throughout the map. You won’t need to go far to find them, as they aren’t located in specific areas and are incredibly common, according to my experience. Unfortunately, these aren’t items that can be crafted, and there is no way to make them using the resources in your inventory.
