Want to know when Rank Reset in Dead by Daylight? Although Dead by Daylight is a survival horror game, it is also a competitive game. Therefore, it has a Rank system that motivates players to improve their skills to receive different rewards. However, after Patch 5.2.0, the Rank system has changed a lot. So, read on to find out when your Grade Reset in Dead by Daylight.

When Does Rank Reset in Dead by Daylight?

Ranks in Dead by Daylight reset on the 13th of each month. It happens around midnight local time. However, the Rank Reset may be delayed due to various technical issues. But this does not happen often, and the developers report about this on the official Twitter page of the game. And luckily, after Patch 5.2.0, the new Grades system has the same reset time. Therefore, despite the change in the Ranking system, you still have a month to reach the maximum Rank in the game.

Usually, in competitive games, players are matched up based on their Ranks. And so it was in Dead by Daylight, before the developers decided to change the matchmaking and ranking system. It would be more correct to say that Behavior Interactive replaced Ranks with Grades. This new system is very different from Ranked, except for the Reset date in Dead by Daylight.

You still need to earn Pips as a Killer or Survivor. And by collecting enough Pips, you can increase your Grade. However, this does not affect matchmaking in any way. Instead, you will only earn well-deserved Bloodpoints for reaching Grades during each Grade Reset. Also, it is worth noting that you will receive two rewards. One for the Killer Grade and one for the Survivor Grade.

What is more, after a Grade reset, you will start from the lowest Grade, Ash IV. Luckily, even if you lose Pips in Dead by Daylight, you won’t be able to drop down a Grade as you did with Ranks. Therefore, it will be much easier for players to progress.

That’s all you need to know about when Grades reset in Dead by Daylight. By reaching a high Grade, you can earn a lot of Bloodpoints and upgrade your characters, so you should try to earn Pips as efficiently as possible.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
