When does the American Idol finale air? There is only one more episode coming, and then we hit the finale. So odd, it really feels like the season just began, and here we are at its end. This season (21 for those of you counting) has been a blast, with a wide variety of memorable voices and performances. We won’t mince words here. We really dig Iam Tongi. He has a great stage presence and has the voice of a dang angel. Plus, the dude is fantastic on the six-string as well. Who do you hope wins this season?
There is also set to be a ton of guest stars and musical acts for the final episode, Pitbull and Jelly Roll being two of them. It’s set to a big night for all involved.

Realizing this show has had 21 seasons is a quick life hack to make you feel old. Honestly, who would have thought a pretty basic singing competition would go on to become one of the most famous reality TV shows of all time? On top of that, it really has birthed some people who have gone on to become iconic in the field. Just look at Kelly Clarkson. She has tons of gold records now and is hosting her own talk show. There also have been a ton of forgettable people on the show. But one thing you cannot deny, this show is a powerhouse.
