Story of Seasons is a cozy farming and life sim game where you control a young farmer who has recently established their farm. Like every other farming game, you get to grow vegetables, fruits, and crops and have animals such as cows and sheep. You can even start a romantic relationship with characters like Molly. To grow your farm, you need money as well. If you have some birds on your farm, you may have noticed it is different feeding them compared to other animals. So here is where you can buy bird food in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

As in real life, you cannot expect all of your animals to eat the same thing and from the same place. While most of the animals you own in Story of Seasons can be fed by making fodder or purchasing it from the store, that is not the case for birds in this game.

You must buy their special food to feed your birds, such as chickens and ducks. You can get bird food, known as Bird Feed, in the game from Takakura’s ledger. You can find the ledger next to the barn. Once you’ve opened it, select Order Feed, and from there, choose bird feed that you can purchase each of them for 100G.

Now it is time to feed our birds. To do that, first, select bird feed from your inventory and hold it. Then go near the food trough and place it into the trough. Then take a distance from it and let the birds eat their food. It is important to know that you must only add bird feed once the trough is empty. Otherwise, it will use the whole bird feed, even if a small portion of it was used.

Story of Seasons is available for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
